NUTRAFINE

Hi All,

I am new to brewing I have got some beer to brew but I have started some wine what I need to know is what is Nutrafine, it comes with the wine kits but I like to brew wine from my own grapes, berrys and whatever, do i need to use this nutrafine or will my wine be ok without it.

It's a fining. It is apparently composed of Iron? I am researching it, since i've never heard of it before.

I have looked all over google and as it has something to do with iron? I just wondered if I actually need it or what it does to the wine and if i do need it were can i get it rather than buying wine kits.

It's probably just a clever play on words indicating its a neutral fining. I would add it in as per the instuctions on your kit to ensure it clears properly.

do you think i could buy it from a shop, or is there another type of finings i can buy from a shop?

Oh, i see what you mean. I wouldn't bother, just buy a two step wine fining from any brew shop. Don't look for any particular brand until you've found one you like.

Thanks for all your help, I dropped into my local wilkinsons and got everything I need.

Am going out tommorow to pick a bag full of blackberrys.
