Extract for Marris Otter??? (a rough equivalent)

Would this be a Pale/Light malt extract with the addition of darker malt extract?

Cheers :)

Leyland Home brew seem to still be selling it, so I've just ordered a couple, I suppose freshness might be an issue!??

Freshness (or rather lack of it) could be a big issue.

I'll have to wait and see I suppose...

I'd still be interested to know if an Approximation of Marris Otter Can be made with different coloured malt Extracts.
