Just a couple of quick questions.

What is 500g of DME equal to in grain?

If i did an all grain beer can i just stir DME in after the boil or does it need boiling?

There's no hard-and-fast answer because it depends on mash efficiency but I suppose you'd need about 750g of pale malt to get the same amount of fermentables in 500g DME. Spraymalt can be mixed in after the boil. With other types of DME I think you'd need to boil them to kill any potential nasties.
