Soap bubbles?? any suggestions?

Post by Spikesdad » Sun Dec 06, 2009 1:42 pm

Hi all, i did a brew yesterday, and all went well untill i transfered from boiler into FV.
Then i saw them... bubbles... bloody rainbow coloured things... like soap sud bubbles...loads of 'em.
i guess i didnt rinse out FV too well from steralising solution!!
Ok so i scraped them off best i could added yeast anyway, thought id give it a fighting chance, but today yeast layer nothing like it should be, and white bits around the edges, that look suspiciously like mould to me.
Looks like one for Mr. Plughole to me, but I thought i would just post this and see if anyone has had same experience, or any suggestions??? Thx in advance folks,
Cheers, dave

I'd give it a day or two. It might sort itself out.
Best wishes
