First Extract Advice Please

Post by Swiller » Thu May 13, 2010 9:41 am

Hi Guys

I have a Wadworth Old Father Timer from GWs recipe which is now ready to transfer to a keg. I am unclear as to wether to transfer it to another fermenter with or without finings and let it drop clear then keg it with priming sugar or not use sugar and force carb in the cornie.
Cheers for any help with this stage of the process.

I think it comes down to personal preferences. There's no need to move it another FV.

I don't have any cornies so my options are restricted to natural carbonation ;) But since I prefer cask-conditioned beer to keg beer my preference would be for natural conditioning.

There's a recent discussion of the cornie side of things here:

(saves me typing the same stuff again!)
