Steeping grains

Steeping grains

Once you have the water at temp for steeping so most people allow it to cool or do you try and maintain this temperature - I am doing it in a pan on the hob so it does take some effort to maintain

If you can the maintain the temp its better.What sort of grain are you steeping retourrbx?

I steep crystal in all beers, in my recent porter I had chocolate, black and carapils

Yet Mr. Brupaks strongly advises DaaBs method. I use MOs recipes but use MR. Bs advice on grains....who knows???
