Can you get, in the UK, other types of LME: ie lager and if so where from.
I have looked at loads of HB websites and not seen any.

I think that the John Bull Light is used as a lager malt http://www.stonehelm.co.uk/MaltExtracts.html

I think the range here is fairly small although the Brupacks LME is a commercial LME called Cedarex made by Muntons. The US has a much more extensive range of LMEs available - I presume because extract brewing is much more common there. The US scene is all grain and extract with few kits. The UK market is kits and all grain with not much extract brewing.

We used Muntons Cederex for all our lagers back in the 'brew-on-premises' days.
Those 40 gall drums of extract were bleedin' heavy!!
Check out the beers we have for sale @ Mix Brewery
