Is my calculation correct !

Hi I just done my 1sr reading on the 9th day so far, and was wondering if my calculation for alc is correct!

1st day reading 1044


Day 9 reading for 1st ach reading



That looks like 1012 to me
And if I've worked this out correct its 4.3% alc
Is this correct to you guys please

You have a 4.2% on your hands tho.

Tricky don't worry you got it right, different website calculators will give slightly different answers - some 4.2 others 4.3.

I learned to work it out as follows:

OG minus FG divided by 7.46

So.....

44 minus 12 = 32

32 divided by 7.46 = 4.289544235924933

4.3% ABV to 1dp
