one and half kilo lme, one kilo brown cane , 564 grams lme malt, 564 grams black treacle boiled 30 mins with 80 grams warrior hops, in filter bag, added to fermenter making 22 liters in total, norsk ale yeast 10 grams it stopped tasted hoppy and bitter so added 545 grams golden syrup not fermenting added 500 grms brown demarara and crossmyloof belguim yeast now going likke mad every 10 sec a burp i

hi all bottling today will prime with half tea spoon sugar in 500 ml , have ordered new hops ,yeast and malt extract , also going to add juniper berries to fermenter with hops, bit of disagreement this end wife wants IPA but i will add all with hope i get a dry hop flavour , will post on here as to fg and taste of brew later today then start my new in a week when bits arrive , cheers and thank you, ps how much sugar to add i have one and half liters malt for new brew of 23 liter, want to hit about 5% alcohol

bottled the heavy 2nd brew , tastes very much like harveys doombar, came in at 1.008 primed white sugar 1/2 tea spoon to 500ml bottles, colour a deep brown slightly reddish, so onto 3rd brew

hi al first brew , tasted, been in bottes about 24 days, tasted about 4 to 6, all a bit different primed with demerara , should i start to drink or lea, .ve a bit longer. On my 3rd brew looked about forum says to leave in primary 4 to 6 weeks Danstar BELLE SAISON yeast is that ok ? i will prime straight to bottle cheers

If you've tasted 4 to 6 of them and enjoyed them, then keep going! The rest may get better if you keep them, but you need something to drink now!

hi all, result 2nd brew taste malty but not to much very hoppy slight fizz ,seems strong on first pint going for second, colour like a newcastle, very enjoyable, so my first two brews are good, waiting for third to complete, cheers
