Suggest me a first extract kit

Post by Galena » Fri May 29, 2020 6:55 pm

So this will be for my first ever brew, so I am going to need something fairly easy to understand with decent instructions etc.
I was looking at this as I do like Citra hopped pale or blonde ales https://www.geterbrewed.com/citra-ipa-e ... ewing-kit/

What do you think?

What equipment do you have? You will need a large pot for boiling the wort and hops before cooling and transferring to the FV. Not sure how comprehensive the instructions are in those kits, but plenty of help available on this forum.

There are instructions for extract kits on the Geterbrewed website. I would imagine the kit comes with instructions too.

Hi Galena,

If it has not already been suggested, get some extra dried yeast such as Safale S04 as a "just in case". It can be kept in the fridge as an insurance against any issues during fermentation.

Cheers,
ARNWD.
