Normally I'd say Nooooooooooooooooo - however I'm well known for trying anything once (apart from animals and pederasty =D> ) - I might just try it as a wild experiment [-o<

I'm with Bribie, would be hesitant to recommend. However this is tempered by the fact that I know I've admitted quite a bit of kettle trub to the fermenter by colander filtration of wort from the kettle, it resulted in a fair number of gongs, but there's been times when I've really, really wondered. Worth an experiment, if you're happy with it then proceed.

Unnecessary information but RdeV and I are in a club bulk buy right now and I've got 3 sacks of fresh stuff arriving on Saturday. To tide me over I bought 5k of wheat malt and 5k of ale malt last week and did a half and half wheat/ale summer blonde the other day, so have an identical bill to use up before I get into my new grain. So I might just do it.

Hi again! I fermented my last 2 beers on the trub. And they taste great.

I've got a 25 litre and a 5 litre from yesterdays brew day which i'm doing the same with.
