Post by omese » Tue Jan 17, 2012 9:22 am

hi folks managed to get my 1st biab going on saturday, now fermenting very nicely so far so good, got the recipe off homebrewtalk, it was called lakeside lager,

http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f57/lakeside-lager-52185/

done the same recipe, but used hersbrucker hops, just wondering has anyone done this recipe??? and how does it turn out drink wise??, according to the people on hbt its a excellent lager

Interesting, I often use Vienna or Munich I (light Munich) but not both, I always thought they might "fight against" each other, but why not indeed, could be a marriage made in heaven.
The Hersbrucker are a good choice, they are used by a lot of Aussie breweries to give a noble hop aroma and finish to their premium lagers.
