I fancy making something darker for my 3rd BIAB and the Fullers London Porter recipe in GW's book has caught my eye.
Just wondered if anyone has tried it, and if it was any good?
Anyone tried GW's Fuller London Porter?

Do a search. I have read it is good. I think leedsbrew and others have done this one. It's a cracking drink but definitely not a session ale which is why I haven't done it yet

I popped into Waitrose (I'm not a regular customer BTW) on the way home and picked up a bottle of Fullers London Porter to check it out.
It is a nice porter, but I wasn't overly excited about it, and It wasn't much better than my current porter brew, that I made from a Coopers English Bitter kit with 1kg of light DME, Crystal malt, Chocolate malt & roasted barley with US-05.
Ah well, the research is fun if nothing else

I think it's a great drink. The meantime porter is supposed to be good and I fancy that but there are lots.of different hops. I also want to make the sierra nevada porter but can't seem to.find a well established recipe that is similar to the one listed on their website

I've made it and have just started drinking it and think it is fabulous. The flavours going on in your glass are continuously making you think and each sip forces you to concentrate on all the things going on. I can't recommend it highly enough. The only thing I got wrong was to go for 19 litres because I wasn't sure I would want so much. Big mistake. Will definitely make it again but this time 25 litres.
