Nice blog, looks like you had a good brew day. I done a SMaSH 2 brews ago with Amarillo and MO. Cracking brew for just 2 ingredients!

Congratulations on your first brew! Maybe have a look at max-BIAB next to see if you can get more out of your brewday. There's a here for getting 23lish from a 19l stock pot

Thanks guys. I'm desperate to fire up the hob for the second one! Probably another Smash with different hops. I'm hoping it will work as a learning process to really understand how different varieties/alpha acids affect the flavours.
Thanks for the Max BIAB link, longer brew length is also something I was wondering about.
