I also brewed today. It was supposed to be yesterday, but Storm Eunice had other ideas: she decided I ought to reroof my brewshed instead. So delayed my brew to today.

A Helles Exportbier for a forthcoming inter club competition. All good except I overshot my target OG and had to liquor back to get target OG nearer the right number. All tucked up safely in the fermenter 👍

Fermenting: nowt
Conditioning: English IPA/Bretted English IPA
Drinking: Sunshine Marmalade, Festbier, Helles Bock, Smokey lagery beer, Irish Export StoutCascade APA (homegrown hops), Orval clone, Impy stout, Duvel clone, Conestoga (American Barley wine)
Planning: Dark Mild, Kozel dark (ish), Simmonds Bitter, Bitter, Citra PA and more!

I know, but a) weather is a bit sh*t for grass cutting and b) I have an aversion to cutting the grass before March (even prefer not to start before April, but that is tough!) c) I’d rather be making beer

I ended up with close to 3.5 U S gallons at 1.053.
I'm just here for the beer.
