Bottling day

Usually brew and bottle with a friend. With us both working offshore sometimes one of us will have to bottle by ourselves. I used to hate this job on my own, just saw this as a chore. What a difference it makes to be organised and be equipped with a couple of gadgets to make things easier. A decent capper and a bottle steriliser.

Even with only basic kit, bottling with 2 people is so much easier. It's way more productive than just 2x

Yeah, my better half helps me (super star).

She fills up the bottle with the Blichmann beer gun and I cap.

Takes no time at all.

with a slight mod the bottling in the video could be much quicker. The mod? something for the bottle being filled to stand on leaving both hands free to cap the filled bottle and put a new bottle on the sprayer

Sounds like a good plan, I'll sure have a think about that.
Knowing me though if I get disturbed by someone talking to me I would probably end up with an overflow. I am your stereo typical male who can't multi task. (so my wife says anyway).

I think the pink sanitiser you are seeing is just normal starsan. This sanitizing device has a red part that sits inside the clear bit making the liquid look pink from that angle.
