Hi All
After a 25+ year absence I've just dug out my home brew gear. It includes two pressurised dispensing barrels. One each as per title, which have rectangular (with semi circular ends) openings in the top. Both rubber seals are badly perished and need to be replaced. At the time these cost a pretty penny and I'd like to keep them for their intended use.
A quick google search returns only standard 'O' rings.
Does anybody know if any spares are out there?
Failing that I'll try to make something from a sheet of silicon rubber.
With Thanks

Re: Rotokeg/BeerSphere Spares
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I'd be very surprised if there's any of those oval shaped rubber seals on the market now. A friend of mine had those barrels himself about 10 years ago & couldn't find any replacements.

Cheers Horden Hillbilly,
I wasn't very hopeful, in all honesty. I'll try and make a basic mould and use silicon mastic. Won't be as pretty as the original, but a seal is a seal.
Is standard household silicon mastic good enough?
