http://www.brewuk.co.uk/containers/taps/perlick.html They do 6in shanks as well but if you do by them ask them to remove the black flange and pack them flat as mine got damaged in the post. they replaced them no problem though.

They do look nice but didn't expect a tap to be similar price to what I paid per corney keg

There are sites that do "tributes" to the Perlick, you could have a look here these have flow control versions too, for a bit more money.

I have the Perlick 650ss's, they are amazing and will last you a life time. Well worth the cash

I think I paid approx £40.00 per tap, that was a few years ago.

Righty o then I'm sold, like you say they look like they will last a lifetime, and they are for the most important liquid in the universe
