Re: CO2 Regulator
I've been using one of these for 2 years, no problems at all.

Re: CO2 Regulator
For some reason ebay is down for me at the mo, but if it is the same as the one I have it just screws into the connector on the tank. No adapters needed.
Back now, that's the one I have. It came with a pressure gauge on the low side 0-5bar, which I replaced with a 15psi one. (really wanted a 30psi but I had a 15 so used it)

Re: CO2 Regulator
For gas line just use a John Guest fitting to go from the reg.
As the threaded outlet on the reg is quite short I cut the plastic John Guest fitting down so that I was able to screw it down all the way and get a good seal.

Re: CO2 Regulator
I used a 3/8 to hose barb tail to connect mine, a JG would be nicer though

Here's the way I did it. When I say cut the John Guest down, we're only talking 2mm.

Just be aware that the welding regs don't have pressure relief valves.

What's that, at 6'o,clock that I can see in the pic that alexlark posted. And I know that mine has one, it has worked on one occasion for me when I was being silly. But I can't say they all have one cos I don't know if they do.rpt wrote:Just be aware that the welding regs don't have pressure relief valves.

Edit, mines at 12 o clock, between the gauges

I thought it was some kind of burst disc, it's definitely not just a blanking bolt. Looks the same as yours though.

The one suggested (on the eBay link) hasn't got psi for going into the keg - it's only got a flow rate... Should I get a new one with a psi gauge (if so an suggestions for where from?) or is there an additional gauge that I can use? Thanks!

Re: CO2 Regulator
Have a look on ebay, there are loads.
You could fit a splitter and pressure gauge on the gas line and still use that reg. That would be the easiest way of doing it. And more accurate. Like Wonkydonkey above.
Or you could future proof your system and use a secondary regulator: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CORNELIUS-SEC ... 1918533073
I use a secondary on my system.

Re: CO2 Regulator
Would a secondary be better than just getting a new regulator with a psi reading?
