Those plastic "feet" on a Corny keg lid sealing arm

Post by gobuchul » Sat Dec 12, 2015 5:18 pm

The plastic "feet" on one of my corny lids have fell off.

These are the small plastic "feet" that fit on the ends of the sealing arm. They press between the top of the keg and the arm to make sure the lid is pulled tight in to the opening.

Now I can't get a seal with this lid.

Is there anywhere that can supply them?

Those wire clothes drying racks often have protective feet covers like that. If you have one in your house, no one will ever notice if you re-purpose the rubber covers.
I brew therefore I ... I .... forget

Thanks gents.

I tried the clothes dryer feet but they were a little big.

I have ordered 10 from China via ebay.

Yeh I done that, got some, but what I didn't know was that there are 2 sizes. And I got the larger size when I really needed the smaller.
All the smaller type I have are red/was red now faded to amost White. The bigger are black or grey coloured. If you have both types you could measure them but I think you can tell by the shape of the handle on the lid. IE long thin handle thicker gauge ss or the wider handle, thinner gauge ss

Edit; long thin

Wide
