I have been offered Tronozymol as a substitute for Yeast-Vit to try and get my stuck brew going again was just wondering if its the same thing.
I dont doubt the guy who told me but just thought id double check before i bought it.
Yeast-Vit.
Re: Yeast-Vit.
Hi Robdog, how it going... or shouldn't I ask...
AFAIK, Tronozymol is just another branded yeast nutrient, so it should be fine. Take care not to add too much though, it can least a very odd taste if the yeast doesn't get to work on it.
I guess your stuck ferment problem is in another thread... I'll go and have a look.

Re: Yeast-Vit.
Hi mate im fine thanks
This is my third kit now, Santas Winter Warmer. The yeast it came with was lifeless so i added another Muntons yeast and it was fine for 2 days then theres no bubbles at all.
Maybe im being hasty but ive give it a stir to try and get it started again but ive read this kit has a habit of sticking.
Im gonna order some yeast vit and some Safale s04 yeast incase it doesnt get started again and its always handy to have some spare.

Re: Yeast-Vit.
It certainly is. I use S-04 a lot, but I always make sure I have plenty spare.Robdog wrote:Im gonna order some yeast vit and some Safale s04 yeast incase it doesnt get started again and its always handy to have some spare.
