Hi first timer here I started a brew on sunday 24 hrs and nothing so went online and read that i should have wisked the wort before adding yeast so on monday i decided to wisk it only to read later not to do this what harm have i done should i chuck it out and start anew ??
ps fermenting has now started lol

if you gave it some air before the fermentation kicked off i wouldnt worry about it - its only really after the fermantation is done that adding air to the system can cause funny tastes etc. Sounds to me like it will be fine

. Ipso facto; What ever it is in the meantime? It isn't really 'Beer', as in something to be considering the objective result.
Just accept that what ye in the process of producing there is going through constant changes. It's Developing.
My way is to simply get the job done and try not to worry about what it looks, smells or tastes like, until it's 'ready'. IF, in a few weeks time, it tastes like battery acid? Fair do's. Drainward it shall go. Ye've lost a few quid and a few weeks ~ and, hopefully, learned something worth that cost. If it turns out a belter? Just consider how ye once nearly slung it, before it had had a chance to show its true colours.
In short; Never sling a brew till someone taps on ye window and asks for Cod 'n Chips!
