bubbles when i syphon

Hi when i syphoned my beer into the keg i noticed tiny bubbles going through the tube as well could this be co2 or is it air i noticed when pouring into the test
jug it seemed very gassy lots of tiny bubbles and a good head if its air have i ruined it what will it be like.

Sounds like air being drawn in somewhere. Are you using a plain pipe to syphon, or an 'auto syphon' thingy?

I had the same problem with an auto syphon for a few brews, I tracked it down to the rubber seal between the inner and outer tubes - air was being drawn in through the seal. I proved this by dropping some clean water down between the two tubes, this stopped the bubbles appearing.

Unfortunately, it did oxidise some of the beer, but not all - with a bit of luck, yours will be okay.

Thanks sparky the syphon i use came with a starter kit it has a on of valve on the end as i keged it its all ruined is it worth keeping what will it taste like

Anto, its never wise to drain a beer unless you are 100% sure its going to turn out bad...that or SWMBO's orders.
I'd keep it, see what it turns out like, just brew another one as insurance

I transfer my beer from the FV to Keg via the tap, and no matter what I still get a stream of spiralling bubbles under the tap, never ruined a brew yet.

Yes, as the others have said, see how it turns out - it will probably be fine.

You can get away with a surprising amount of clangers, but I think the problem I had with the syphon was particularly bad.
