could someone tell me whether there is a difference between candi sugar and brewing sugar that they sell at my Local HBS ? Im sure there is but having googled the topic i cant really find whether it would be detrimental to my brew if i dont use candi sugar? This is my very first belgian ale kit and I am determined that I do it as best as possible so that I know whether its worth doing another. I absolutely adore belgian beer so if this is successful i am going to be a very happy man!!! The kit suggests that you do not HAVE to use the candi sugar but is suggestive that it would be best to do so, and like i say, i want to do whatever is best on this one......? Please help !
