:) Relax, lads. Eire is, I believe quite famously, The Most expensive country in the entire EEC. Shane's not ripping me off. I too have to import consignments of stuff. (It Hurts!) So I can tell ye now; If I tried buying those kits from the most cut throat price slashing outfit in england, then paid to get them over here? I'd gain Jack!

Quite honestly? I marvel at the way in which Shane proved able to fulfil such a crazy order with such speed and a complete lack of fuss. The guys whole attitude, start to finish, was; " No Problemmo! ". Try walking into ye LHBS and asking for six wholesale cases, DSM to match, and half a dozen identical kegs etc. Then see if They'll suggest COD to ye door, and say they'll happily even fetch it to ye, across Counties!

No, the 'cost of living' here is said to be extortionately high? I honestly don't notice it. I have money, or I'm skint. Same anywhere. But the Quality of living here? Dealing with people like Shane? Having complete strangers seek out ye eye as they pass, just to ask, " How are ya? ". Seeing little old ladies shuffling home from their friends place, at gone 22:00, in the dark and perfectly safely, under the fondly watching eyes of the lads catching a smoke outside the pubs ....? I could just go on and on and on! Ye know what I'm saying, guys; Priceless!

Naah. You can keep ye 'cheaper' kits. For a few quid more; I'll keep what I've found

Ditch, My post wasn’t meant to look like I was rippin the p~~s out of Ireland, Shane (or his website and prices) or indeed your good self. I know that Ireland is a beautiful place; I do understand that you are happy with Shane and his services and I always enjoy your posts.
All I meant to state was what I said. Which was “Makes me glad that I don’t live in Ireland” reason being it is expensive and the way things are I’d be struggling even to have a drink of homebrew yet alone have a session in the pub over there.
So Ditch if I offended you ,Shane or Ireland please accept my apologies as my post was entirely an innocent observation. With no malice intended

Ditch, do you have a spade you could lend Dill
Anyway, I, like everyone else, would like to say bloody well done. It must have been like being a kid at Christmas all over again at your place on Saturday.

A spade? a JCB would be more appropriate.
