whose got gas?

Post by beer today » Mon Jan 05, 2009 10:25 pm

just sampled my first attempt, Milestone IPA. It's been conditioning approx 2 weeks in the garage, bloody freezing at the mo. I know it is ideally better to leave for 4 weeks, which I will, however I have added co2 thru the S30 valve, and it has a great head. However I would prefer a little more gas in my beer, can I do anything about his, other than adding more co2, or is this generally a result of kit brewing, using a kk. Is there any control for the gas in the beer itself?
thanks
fraz
