Thanks for all the help guys so far on my 1st attempt!
I have bottled today and would like to know how long in a warm location before putting somewhere cooler? and how many weeks before i can crack open my first one! :P

Leave them somewhere warm (room temperature) for a week then chill and drink at your leisure. :)

This is the hardest part (for me anyway) - leaving it alone. I bottle mine and leave it at room temp (20C +) for a couple of weeks then start nibbling at them, I can't help it :wacko: . By the time it's at it's best I might have a couple of pints/bottles left :oops: .

Going by the book (whatever that is), leave to mature for about a week then transfer to your fridge for several weeks - this last bit is important as it will most likely develop chill haze but this should pass in time.

Like Steve says, the wait is the hard part.
Best thing you can do is get another kit on straight away. This distracts you from needing to drink your first beer!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
