Pressure barrel v's bottles

Post by lollypopp » Sat Mar 21, 2009 10:03 pm

Drinking beer during the summer months? well as I plan to use a pressure barrel, is it possible to pour some, say into a cleaned lemonade bottle, and put in the fridge for latter on in the evening, the reason I ask? is I've noticed one or two on the forums have said, that one advantage to going thru' all the trouble of bottling is so you can cool it in the fridge for the summer evenings, sorry I've already started asking silly questions, [-o< I just want to try and learn and do it right!!

Thanks Chris, I only intend to draw of what I will drink that evening, and I see the sense in the tube, as this will lead to a smoother pour!

I did this on a Wherry kit, from barrell to bottle carefully, then in the fridge overnight. Was flat as a pancake in the morning, so seems a good idea to not leave it too long as per previous reply. Cheer.
