New Product From Woodfordes

A very Happy New Year to you all. I would like to let you all know about a new beer kit which is now available from Woodfordes. Copy of the press release is below:

Woodforde’s Admiral’s Reserve (4.5%)

It is with great pleasure that I can announce the long awaited launch of the most recent addition to the Woodforde's range.

The Admirals Reserve is a new 4.5% beer kit designed and based on a traditional English strong ale style, and was initially launch by Woodfordes in April 2002 to celebrate Woodforde's 21st Anniversary (1981-2002).

TASTING NOTES:

The solid and generous sweet fruit flavours blend intimately with the luscious malted barley creating a complex and extremely satisfying dark chestnut-coloured beer. The combination of malt and the full hop flavour gives a long dry finish. This beer is both wonderfully, and dangerously, drinkable.

This addition to the Woodfordes range will give the every discerning brewer a variety to entice friends and family to enjoy and even brew or selfishly, just to savour alone.

I can't tell you what it tastes like yet, as it literally arrived here on Tuesday, but I started it off last night. So, if you're in the Ringwood area in about 3 weeks, pop in to the shop and try it out.

It would be great if you could tell us what the kit is like on the tasting front.
Also its great to have a HBS inhabiting the forum,as you see things from the other side of the counter
