i'm a novice - one great brew of cooper's lager so far! but my local homebrew supply shop is all out of brewers sugar, and won't get more in for two weeks. now, i can't wait - not even for an internet delivery! but i've heard not to use granulated sugar (?)
i mean will it TOTALLY ruin my tom caxton real ale, or just make it a wee bit less good?
or should i partially invert the granulated sugar by boiling with a squirt of lemon juice? worth the effort?
many thanks
