Pie - The barrell is a KK TT.

I fear you're right DaaB. I took a hydrometer reading reading this morning, and it's 1.012. Oops.

Where do I go from here?

If it's reading 1012 it doesn't look like it has stuck, the instructions may say keg at 1010, but a few points off is fine!

Have you added any finings, and is the keg now in a cool place? Sometimes it just takes a while for the yeast to fall out of suspension completely, adding finings will speed this up :D

I thought I'd done the patient bit. It's been 4weeks!

The barrell was in my kitchen, which is about 18degrees, so I've just put it outside, where it's colder.

But it's already in the keg. If I open it now I'll loose all the pressure!

The beer will make the pressure back soon enough. Remember when you have fist kegged the amount of void space is quite small so it doesnt take long to fill it.

Open when it's half empty and that is more of a problem. But still not terrible. Some people open the top to let beer pour if they dont have gas injection.

OK, the next problem in this saga:

I put the keg outside last weekend. Before I put it out I had loads of pressure. But when I tried to pour a pint today, there was no pressure. Has the cold killed the pressure, or do you think something somewhere could be frozen?

OK, adding gas it is then...

I've got loads of those little CO2 bulbs, and a holder. Do I just add the whole bulb?

You dont have a choice. By the sounds of it it's one like mine (from wilkos) that will just dispence the lot.
