I've done two of these Brewers Choice dry kits (the Trad IPA and 80 Shilling). I mainly do 2 can kits so when the IPA worked out more expensive than my usual 2 can brews I had high hopes for it, especially because some of my best brews have been Brupaks 2 can kits. To be honest both the IPA and 80 Shilling were two of the worst kits I've ever done, both I made up to only 20l and used the dried malt extract option 2. Both kits were thin and lacked any depth of flavour, the IPA was the biggest disappointment, little if any hop character at all, nothing but a sickly sweet taste but relatively strong in alcohol, a bit like drinking sweet white wine that had been diluted 2 fold

I'd even go as far as saying that all my one can brews have come out better than these two.
They were also the first two kits I tipped down the sink after hitting the 12-16 week mark in kegs and them still tasting really bland as I really wanted to free up my kegs with some decent beer. They seem to be held in high regard in general so maybe I was unlucky
Still highly recommend Brupaks' 2 can range though, although I think the Muntons Premium Gold 3.6Kg kits are the best beer kits on the market.
