well ive bottled my first kit and i must admit to havin a taste berfore it went into the bottle, was rather nice


well my question to you is, i added some sugar to the bottle first , but d i store in the fridge or in a warm place as i want them to have a little fizz.

also how longwill it take to get a fizz, i dont mind just a little fizz on the tongue my mate said months but i thought a week or 2 would do it

Keep at room temperature and crack open in 2 weeks. Might be better if left for a week or so more. How much sugar did you add to each bottle?

You need room temp for at least a week, pref 2 to get a little more fermentation going in the bottle. This produces some more CO2. You can drink it then, but for best results keep it somewhere a little cooler for another week or 2 as this helps the CO2 be absorbed into the brew. :beer:

is it ok to drink now though , i know it wont be fizzy but is it safe

Yes. It was always safe, but by the sounds of things it's not ready so why waste it? Patience man! If there's one thing this hobby will teach you it's patience!

no wasnt gonna drink it now, just wandered if it was ok if i were to accidently open a bottle that wasnt ready thinking it was another batch, just curious really

5 days in a warm place, two weeks in a cool place, then open, pour, drink, sleep...
