Ah!, so the only reason for transfering to the bottling bucket is to avoid getting sediment into the bottle?

Its good for leaving behind the sediment, but if you do need to add priming sugars, you can add that first (diluted in to a cup of warm beer) so that when you siphon off your FV in to your secondary, you get an even amount of priming sugar when you bottle up.
