I've used malto-dextrin for priming a few times, but I read in Palmer's How To Brew that this is mostly unfermentable. Does this mean that the condition I got was from the residual sugars in the beer, rather than the action of the m-d?DaaB wrote: you may find it cheaper as malto-dextrin.

Hi All
You've had a couple of questions regarding the Pride Of Yorkshire special offer we have:
1. It is a new range for us, so we want to get our customers to try it. Whenever we get new products we try to get them out on special offer to start with.
2. The sell by dates are March and April 2008. The reason for the sale is as above, not because we haven't been able to sell them
3. The only varieties now left are:
Linthwaite Light x 1
Almondbury Old x 2
Kirkburton Ale x 2
Honley Mild x 2
India Pale Ale x 2
West Riding Wheat x 3
How about also trying the Brupaks Brewer's Choice dry kits. I have made several of these and always been pleased with the results. The German Pilsner is my particular favourite, but I do leave it to mature in bottles for 6 months before drinking. Varieties available at 25% discount are:
Extra Special Bitter
Best Bitter
Irish Stout
German Pilsner
Czech Pilsner
Dusselforf Alt
Old Ale
premium Lager
Traditional IPA
If you visit www.easybrew.co.uk and click on special offers you will see them there - again this is whilst stocks last.
