I've resently done two of these kits and both times I've had put decant from my PB in to a jug as the beer is all head but settles down to a lovely clear drink.clould it be that primary fermentation is not quit finished ? :?:

It could be that, or over priming can cause it too.

But there's a tendency for PBs to act a bit like this when they're full; as there isn't much head room to accomodate it a little bit of Co2 causes quite a pressure increase. If its really excessive, so that even the most gentle tap-turning doesn't help, you can release a bit of pressure through the safety-release valve, though take care not to damage the rubber band thingy (or release too much, unless you have an injection system to top up with more CO2).

Cheers

Well I primed with 80grm glucose.tried reducing the pressure by the relief valve and managed to fill a pint glass with about a gallon left in .On great shakes ysing a jug to decant as it settles quick but would be even better if I didn't have to do that all the time. And it's only happend With St Peters. Apart from that its a very nice drink.

Hello do you have a float system attached to the tap, if you do the fobbing could be cause by the black o ring not sealing properly. I had this problem a couple of times took me ages to sort out what the problem was , got even worse once the beer was below the tap , im using beer spheeres. Changed the o ring and it stopped.

Yojimbo. I'm using a King Keg bottom tap with a dalex tap.

Never used a king keg, some one should be along soon with some help. I am drinking this at the moment out of one of my beer spheres it does keep quite a good head on the pint so may be you got too much pressure in the barrel.
