I returned to AG brewing after a long spell and my first effort seems to be successful.
I've been gifted an up market kit (Woodforde Wherry). The instructions indicate I should bottle immediately after primary fermentation. Would the beer be improved if I mature it for a further 2/3 weeks in a cask or carboy? Or would it be a waste of time?
I now have a supply of beer from my AG effort so it would be no hardship to wait (if it's going to improve the beer).

Leave it in the FV for 14-16 days and then bottle as normal, takes mine 5-6 weeks to clear and its a lovely pint.
