My method with us-05 is, ferment to FG in aboul a week, add gelatine with some pre boiled water, wait another week by which time it's usuall quite clear and transfer to the BB with batch prime sugar and bottle.

I also make sure the fermenter is on a worktop so i dont have to move it to syphon the beer, moving it usually kick's sediment up.
