Beer enhancer question

Hi guys im doing a lager kit over the next day or so and I've got 500g dried malt
500g glucose
Is this ok to use instead of sugar?

Hi I picked up a John bull lager kit from tesco it's all they had left lol.
It's my second kit so still a bit new to all this brewing lark

Hi, are you after lager? If so go for extra light spraymalt as the kit is quite dark. It's better with a hop tea or a brupak lager flavapak .I'm pretty sure the kit yeast is ale so you will end up with a lager like ale.

i think geezah would agree that to add a bit of pizzazz to what is a fairly bog standard kit a hop tea with saaz, styrian or mittlefrau would really help the experience. Dead easy to do. and maybe go all extra pale spray malt 1kg instead of glucose
