Hi,
i bought my next can and brew enhancer today and when i got home and checked them out further, i found that the brew enhancer was solid inside the packet.
Some bits had broken off and they appeared quite easy to crush into powder again but the majority was like a brick!
Should i still use it or should i return it to the shop for a new one?
Cheers,
Barry
Coopers Brew enhancer 2. Solid in packet
Re: Coopers Brew enhancer 2. Solid in packet
Hi There,
I would just take it back to the shop and get another one.
It may have gone hard due to moisture entering the bag and then drying out. Dried malt is a pain to mix at the best of times.
Take it back!

Put your BKE / Malt in to a large mixing bowl or pan, add a kettle full of hot water and stir... it will all disolve.
If your worried about contamination, just boil / microwave the mixed up solution for a minute.
I personally wouldn't worry about it Bazz
