HOPPED LIGHT SPRAYMALT.

Hi There,
Have any of you had any experience using Hopped Light Spraymalt?
Is it better than regular light DME for additional hoppiness or is it a gimick? I note the price is the same.

Regards.

i have tried it before but got no discernible added hop aroma from it as far as i could tell.

it would be fine to use if you wanted to up the bitterness of a kit, but your considerably better off buying some hops if you are after aroma.

I added 500g to my Cooper's IPA, along with about 400g of dextrose.

Turned out very nice, but then as this was my first Cooper's IPA, I can't tell if it made the end product more hoppy (which I like).

Thanks for the replies. I kind of guessed it would add a little bitterness with little to add to the aroma.

Cheers Again.
