But; I already make up ~ and guzzle ~ six kits a month. No longer at all sure I'm keeping up with my latest level of consumption either. How the hell many would I need to buy, to produce a surplus? :|

Seriously though, this is another factor, for me. I like my own stuff plenty. I like the odd, Good lager. Here and there. Now and then. More especially in Summer. What f**king Summer! Other things have changed, for me, too.

Naahh. All things considered, and in retrospect? I can't really see me bothering to knock up a whole 20 Litres of any Lager, when Karpacki is available, in town, at about a €1 a can. It 'Does', when the 'need' arises :|

Thanks, anyway, for the reviews. Still interesting to get perspectives on these things.

I tend to find that most need maturing, had a wee look at your stout and might make up a wee batch to see if it will be good to guzzle from the get go, i quite like the shepherd neame porter and only 1.25 in asda, so good for the bottle too

Unfortunatley i work late shifts so can't guzzle as much as i would like and i also have a very opionated wife who comments on my intake quite a lot

Just tried my wheat beer. Was really worried that I'd screwed up by not rinsing bottles at all after sanitising ... but all is fine.

Just brewed up an IPA today, so that'll be nice.
Hi Chris, haven't actually got my kit yet, i'll be getting it in the next week or so, just been buying extras such as Oxy Clean at the moment. Can't wait to get cracking.
