Just bottle it and put yourself out of your misery

Until it hits about 4% ABV, I'm not bottling it

Took another reading and it had come down a bit to 1.014 now am gonna leave it be for a bit, fire it into my 2nd FV towards end of week and bottle it next weekend, then get another one on the go. Thanks for all your advice and support
Nope wrong order..1) rack to secondary. 2) clean primary. 3) get #2 brew going.....we all know you've already sneaked one into the house!!!
Just like trying new ideas!

Bloody Hell of course, I can rack current brew off into 2nd FV for a few days, before bottling. In meantime, I can be cleaning my primary and get another brew on t'go. Best stock up on bottles

Don't be too disappointed if your first batch tastes crap, mine did! Certainly don't let it put you off Ive had some really good results off kits it can be very rewarding. I found watching YouTube a big help. Look up Craig tube he's got some good videos breaking down home brewing from sterilising to bottling/kegging. Well worth looking at because there'll always be something you can pick up

The Vase quite surprisingly was excellent (Or maybe I just thought that because it was my first!!)

Hi Dan, what do you drink normally? If it's fosters or the like then your next brew will be good but if you prefer the likes of kronenbergg, stella, Grolsch or Heiniken swop the kit for something tastier.

I give the canadian blonde two thumbs up, Not a lager drinker so did it so I could drink with my non ale drinking friends but wound up enjoying it. Much nicer than the pi$$ water from the shops

The sample I had from the trial jar wasn't too bad. It was certainly drinkable, just tasted a bit weak.

Normally, I am happy with the session lagers such as Carling, Fosters etc. Don't judge me, there's no accounting for taste. If I'm on a night out, am happy to have a few pints of the premium lagers such as Heineken, Becks etc.

42 bottled bottled, really enjoyed using starsan, it feels like cheating just spraying away. Now they're in the cupboard for a week or so before moving them to the garage for a further week or so then into the fridge. This means I now have an empty FV, so best get cracking on another

A job well done. Do your self a favour though unless you like tasteless sweet beer give the cerveza a miss.

Fair comment, maybe I'll give the Coopers Heritage Lager a whirl instead
