Brewferm Kriek

I fancy making this beer for my wife. The only trouble is the ABV of 5.5% would be too strong for her.
Any one any idea if this kit could be adapted to say a 4% ABV?

I have made quite a few from Brewferm kits excluding the Kriek. All I can suggest is that in the past when I have wanted to increase the strength of beer kit I have reduced the amount of water I add at the begining of fermentation or add a little bit of extra sugar. so to decrease I would suggest adding more water at the begining? I am guessing you wont get it right at first but I would hazzard a guess at an extra 1.5-2 litres? just be wary that this may have an impact on the final taste being a little thin. You could always buy your wife a smaller glass :)

I don't know about that....I know I would!!!1
She tasted a cherry beer from M&S and she really took a liking to it....but it was only 3.5%....Probably do the brew but succumb to her wishes at 4%....then it will become a session beer for me.....but not for long!!!
