What happened in the trial jar was something I've never come across before. I got a creamy head

Settled down and I could take a reading but I've only ever got the usual few bubbles. Was cloudy but tasted ok, any thoughts/experience appreciated
Got it sat in the brew fridge at 18/20 degrees. Make dozens of kits over the last few years just haven't seen this beforeGeezah wrote:Thats just the amount of co2 thats suspended in the brew releasing when you filled the trial jar.
Now we are getting to the colder months, unless you have temperature control for your fermenters, the fermantation takes a little longer, so you may well have tested your brew at an earlier stage of fermentation than previous brew.
