Dry hopping adds flavour and aroma.

You're better off adding your dry hops once primary is nearly done, otherwise the CO2 will carry away a lot of the hop aroma up and out of your brew.

Hi , i usually put in muslin bag near ferment end as monkey stated or if im doing secondary ferment put them in then for a few days ,a little goes a long way 20g-30g is enough i think ,but depends on your taste .

You could equally use a hindu bag, sikh bag, jewish bag. A muslin normally does the job though. :-P

I had a wee taste from the keg after 7 days and it was nice and drinkable, but I've now stashed my keg and bottles in the shed and aim to leave the keg alone for 4 weeks before drinking and the bottles even longer.

Edit - What's the Golden Stag like??
