Change of fermentation fv
Well a I said on my last post I managed to put the coopers dark ale and the Czech pilsner on the boil, but at the at minute changed my mind in using the coopers diy kit. I purchased to fv buckets with airlocks and decided to brew in both of these, just to see if there was any difference between sealed fv and the coopers without an airlock. Will keep you posted on how it goes

Just make sure you get plenty of air into the beer before you pitch the yeast, as you are sealing the vessel there is no way for the yeast to get the air it needs if you don't.Newbrew1 wrote:Well a I said on my last post I managed to put the coopers dark ale and the Czech pilsner on the boil, but at the at minute changed my mind in using the coopers diy kit. Yes don't worry did so much thrashing about, thought I was swimming for my life of the coat of Africa in shark infested waters ha ha, anyway just looked in bedroom and the better brew pilsner is already bubbling away nice dome in lid after 7 hours the coopers lager not yet bubbling. I was supposed to start these brews weekend after I did my post on them but missus dragged me shopping so was late back. Even though I posted that I had started them, sorry guys don't want to mislead you.
