Was putting a couple of brews on, 1st this year as i had been going through the 300 odd beers stocked in my loft, and for some reason i went into auto pilot, for reasons i don't know i shoved 500g of medium malt into my St Peter's Ruby, to make matters worse, i didn't even take a reading
So a couple of questions, will this affect the overall taste and any idea what the OG would have been?

Is 500g really going to bring about a cataclysmic end to all civilisation as we know it though? Or is it more likely to just cause a difference so subtle you'd need a tongue like a snake to detect it?
Re: Newbie mistake from an old head
It'll be stronger, the flavour will be a bit different, can't see it being the end of the world though. Never know, you might like it.
When all is said and done, it will be beer.

Didn't think it would affect the tatse that much buit wondered what the OG would have been, expect it to be around 5%ish after the extra malt in it
Re: Newbie mistake from an old head
Just looked at my notes, i added an extra 250gm brewing sugar brewed to 23L with an abv of 5% so wouldn't worry with 500gm dme. Cheers, N.
