priming sugars

Any idears Please. i normally prime using brewing sugar. I want to try with somthing like black treacle its for a stout kit what amount would i need as treacle is syrup. the kit says 3oz priming sugar. Would i need 3oz of syrup....thanks any help appreciated.

Dear Beer

Black treacle & invert sugars are not 100% fermentable, consequently I would increase the amount by about 20% to compensate.
