I stupidly filtered my wilko pilsner going into secondary and of course it's now flat and I doubt any yeast are still kicking around.
To carb it up I had read about re entry of yeast but I don't want to totally restart fermentation. Could add yeast and kill it after a day?
add yeast to secondary?
Re: add yeast to secondary?
I suspect that you have not managed to filter all the yeast out unless you used a very fine mesh, so I reckon you will be OK, though it may take a little while to get the brew properly carbonated.
If you still have the trub from the first FV you could add a little of that into the secondary FV to be sure. If not, then I guess a fresh packet of yeast would be fine (hydrate it first to promote even mixing). There will not be much sugar left to ferment so the brew will not restart. (I should point out that I have not tried this).
Happy brewing,
Ian.

Re: add yeast to secondary?
That sounds sensible and think I'll give that a try! Thanks.
